Bury St Edmunds Festival 14 - 30 May 2010
Bury St Edmunds Festival is 25 years old this year and is one of the best-loved cultural events in East Anglia bringing
acclaimed performers and exciting events to the historic market town at the heart of the Suffolk countryside.
A mix of contemporary and classical music, outdoor gigs, jazz, theatre, film, comedy, talks, walks and street theatre is brought to life by top names each year and in 2010 you will be able to enjoy the likes of Lesley Garrett, Stan Tracey, Chloe Hanslip with the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, Clare Teal and Adrian Edmondson to name but a few.
There are some great nights planned for the Abbey Gardens including an opening night party gig with the music of Queen and Madness, a welcome return to the Festival by The Dubliners and a night of world music and jazz delivered by hundreds of local performers.
