Georgian Gem
Authors and visitors from Daniel Defoe to Charles Dickens have admired Bury St Edmunds, and William Cobbett dubbed it “the nicest little town in the world”.
Already in its third year, Georgian Gem is an initiative to promote Bury St Edmunds’ rich and varied Georgian heritage with a programme of theatrical performances and illustrated talks in autumn.
Please visit the website on www.georgiangem.co.uk for the full programme of events.
