Explore Ickworth House, Park and Gardens, an extraordinary country estate; enduring, endearing, a magical place that for centuries has woven tales of romance and breathtaking beauty around its heart; the awe inspiring central Rotunda.

Discover the world class collection of paintings by Titian, Gainsborough, Hogarth and Velázquez and a magnificent collection of Georgian silver and Regency furniture.

Step outside and be captivated by the formal ‘Italianate’ gardens, which in turn nestle within 1800 acres (700 hectares) of ‘Capability’ Brown parkland and woods, take a relaxing stroll through the pleasure grounds or an energetic ride on the parkland cycle route.

This beautiful and historic estate and extraordinary house are complimented by contemporary facilities in the West Wing at Ickworth. These include a stylish restaurant, specializing in high quality, locally sourced and seasoned food, and award winning Ickworth Vineyard wines, and a thoroughly tempting boutique gift shop with its exclusive range of National Trust goods, as well as crafts and produce from Suffolk and East Anglia.

The West Wing opened in December 2005 and offers elegant facilities for functions, conferences and weddings from 20 to 220 people. The West Wing is available for Wedding ceremonies and receptions, exhibitions, conferences, dinners and dinner dances, drinks receptions in the beautiful Italianate gardens and orangery, family fun days, corporate outdoor events, and a dedicated marquee area is available to expand the capacity of the West Wing.



Ickworth boasts a diverse programme of exciting and stimulating events created with care and expertise, enjoyed by families and individuals, corporate clients and schools. These include workshops, theatre, team building activities, country fairs and concerts; for all ages and tastes.
