situated two miles east of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, UK. We run a
grass airstrip and have a wide open site in which we run events
throughout the year.

An impressive display of radio controlled flying hosted by
the
Bury Model Flying Club and supported by the Large Model
Association makes this possibly the biggest show of its kind
in East Anglia. The incredibly detailed replica planes use
the latest technology, with wingspans up to 20 ft and speeds
reaching 200mph, powered by engines from electric to gas
turbines.

Organised by the Suffolk Kite Flyers Association & part
of the Bury St Edmunds Festival
This popular event is now expanding to cater for boarding
and buggies with power kites as well as international
championship contests both amateur and professional. There
will also be kite workshops and a competition with fabulous
prizes by Flexifoil. An opportunity for every one to become
involved in this exciting and increasingly popular past
time!

Wings, Wheels & Steam Country Fair 28th & 29th June
Traditional family country show featuring an air display,
over 200 visiting aircraft, a variety of agricultural
machinery, Military Vehicle Trust, nostalgic appearance of
steam engines with commercial vehicles, classic cars and
introducing Custom Cars! There’ll be a new Crafts Marquee to
compliment our colourful and bustling market area, street
theatre, two show rings with commentaries, delicious
caterers and bar tent with all the fun of the fair for

This popular weekend of flying includes a 2hr display on
Saturday with a full 4 ½ hrs display on Sunday featuring
breath taking stunts & aerobatics – The International Sports
Car Show joins the established assembly of classic cars,
military and commercial vehicles – show ring with
commentary, mummers, children’s entertainment, crafts
marquee, market & food stalls. A great weekend out for the
whole family. Helicopter rides and pleasure flights
available.
