Jools Holland set to play at Nowton Park!

Jools Holland & his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra are confirmed to play an open air concert in Nowton Park in May 2018.

Organisers of the Bury Festival are delighted to announce Jools Holland & His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, featuring Gilson Lavis and guest vocalists Ruby Turner & Louise Marshall will perform an open air concert at Nowton Park, Bury St Edmunds on Friday 25th May 2018.

The concert, which which will form part of the 2018 Bury St Edmunds Festival, will be presented by Oep Live! by arrangement with One Fifteen,

Tickets for the concert will go on general sale on Thursday 14th December at 10am. Tickets can be purchased online at www.buryfestival.co.uk or www.oeplive.com or by calling 01284 758000 or 01256 416384.  Alternatively, tickets can be purchased at The Apex, in Charter Square, Bury St Edmunds.  

John Hessenthaler, of Oep Live said, “We have worked very closely and successfully with Nick Wells and his team at The Apex for some time now, so it feels perfectly natural to bring such a big star as Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra to Bury St Edmunds.  We are also hoping to announce two more dates at Nowton Park Shortly.”

Bury St Edmunds Festival organiser Nick Well’s added “We are absolutely delighted that Oep Live will be presenting this large-scale open air concert as it will add a whole new dimension to the 2018 Festival.  The concert will no doubt also attract a lot visitors to Bury St Edmunds and West Suffolk therefore benefitting the local tourism and retail economy.”

Gates at Nowton Park open 5.45pm (Car parks from 5pm) with the show starting at 7.30pm.
