Enjoy the Taste of East Anglia at The Northgate

Why not take your taste buds on an exciting culinary journey around East Anglia without leaving Bury St Edmunds.

The Northgate's Head Chef Greig Young's ‘Taste of East Anglia’ menu, has been inspired by the different areas across the region and showcases the very best local produce.

Whether it’s the flour from Pakenham Mill, quail from Highfield Farm, game from Denham Estate just outside Bury St Edmunds or homegrown rhubarb from his own garden, Greig has brought these ingredients together to create two dinner menus and one for lunchtime.

The ‘Taste of East Anglia’ menus will change throughout the seasons to reflect and celebrate the freshest local produce, when at its very best.

At lunchtime, guests will be able to enjoy a delicious four course lunch for £35 per person and during the evenings, diners can choose from a five or a very indulgent seven course menu for £45 and £65 respectively.

And, to complete the whole experience, The Northgate has also carefully selected wines to match beautifully with each dish for £25 or £35 per person to accompany the 5 and 7 course menus.

For all those enjoying the evening menus, Greig Young loves to come out of the kitchen and discuss the local ingredients and his inspiration behind each dish.
