Bury St Edmunds Golf Course

This 18-hole championship golf course is located just outside Bury St Edmunds, making the most of the beautiful Suffolk countryside. The 18-hole course is open to members and guests (ask in the pro-shop for availability), but non members can enjoy a round or two on the 9-hole Greene King Pay & Play Course (£16 on weekend & bank holidays, £12 on weekdays, weekend & bank holidays with a member, £14 weekdays without a member). 

There's also a driving range costing £2.50 for 20 balls, £3 for 50 balls, £3.50 for 75 balls and £4 for 100 balls. 

Flempton Golf Course

Established in 1895, Flempton Golf Course is a heathland course featuring pine trees, gorse and woodland. 

The 9 hole course takes the form of a cloverleaf and appeals to all standards of golfers.

The traditional clubhouse overlooks the 1st tee and 18th green and offers a chance to relax and unwind after a round or two. The course is next to the stunning Lackford nature reserve and lakes which are home to some of Suffolk's rare wildlife with kingfishers often being spotted next to the fifth hole. 

Clare Park Lane Golf Course

Clare Park Lake Golf Course is a par 3 9 hole parkland course that meanders around a beautiful lake beside the River Stour on the outskirts of the picturesque small market town of Clare.

This small course appeals to all levels of golfing ability whether old or young, beginner or pro. The course is open to members and non members, and after a round or two you can head to the clubhouse which houses a fully licensed bar, changing rooms, showers and the 'Tee Rooms' where you can enjoy brunch, lunch and snacks.

All Saints Hotel Golf & Spa

Just two miles outside of Bury St Edmunds, All Saints Hotel is home to an 18-hole golf course, considered to be one of the most picturesque in Suffolk. The River Lark flows through the parkland which is suitable for all abilities, ages and handicaps. 

There are four adult membership are available: 7-Day, 5-Day, under 30 years & under 25 years. Membership is free of charge for under 18s. 

If you want to improve your day, expert tuition is available with the courses' PGA Professionals Steve Hall and Adam Trett, covering all areas of the game, playing lessons, video or 3D analysis & sports psychology.

Royal Worlington & Newmarket Golf Club

Listed as one of the Top 100 Golf Courses in the UK by Golf World and Golf Monthly, Royal Worlington & Newmarket Golf Course is a 9-hole course laid on gently undulating sandy-based soil that drains well all the year round. It is an excellent winter course too because temporary greens are not needed.

Non-members are welcome but must be arranged prior with the booking secretary. Individual day passes are £80 for all day, £70 for 18 holes, £40 after 4pm. Discounts are applied when playing with a member.
