The Angel Hotel Launches Two New Menus

The Angel's award-winning kitchen team in Bury St Edmunds love to continually surprise with a twist of something deliciously different — so they've put together not one but two brand new menus.

The kitchen team at the Angel Eaterie love to continually surprise with a curious twist of something deliciously different, sourcing fresh local produce from surrounding market gardeners.

Open throughout the day, now there are two new menus to try - The Express Menu and The Angel Classic Menu.

The Express Menu, available Monday to Saturday, 12pm to 2:30pm, have up to 3 courses to choose from including starters and mains such as salt cod scotch egg with spinach and curry sauce, lobster and crayfish bisque with mussels and octopus, goat's cheese risotto and summer squash soup. With three desserts to choose from including croissant pudding, tonka bean pannacotta abd choclate brownie with toffee ice cream. 

The Angel Classic Menu,available Monday to Satuday, 6pm to 9:30pm, features River Deben mussels, barbeque sardines on sourdough, flat iron steak with smoked mayonnaise, and IPA battered cod.

In addition, thebreads baked in house are testament to the care taken to achieve that special taste and take your pick of the 30 varieties of quality wines all served by the glass.

And is you love wine, The Angel Wine Nights are a chance to sample fabulously delicious fine wines, partnered with a fine dining experience.

The two additional menus compliment The Angel Eaterie's A La Carte Menu which is also available Monday to Saturday, 12pm to 2:30pm / 6pm to 9:30pm and Sundays, 6pm to 9pm. With roasts served on a Sunday, 12pm to 6pm.
