The Fourth Annual Dragon Festival Arrives in West Stow in June

Celebrating all things dragon from folklore to dinosaurs Dragon Fest is a great day out for all the family!

The fourth annual dragon festival arrives at West Stow Anglo Saxon Village and Country Park in June.

From dinosaurs to folklore Dragon Fest on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 June is a great day out for all the family.

Epico the Dragon is back by popular demand and appearing on both days.

There will also be fire breathing and the return of the Beowulf and Grendel Puppet Theatre with gruesome tales for all ages. Come and meet Wulfingas re-enactment group and listen to their exciting tales from the Arthurian Legends.

Have a go at Giant Bubbles and Dragon Nest building. plus there will be face painting, have-a-go-archery, children's craft workshops, and a Lego building zone.


Experience relaxing holistic treatments or have an adventure around the Country Park on the Beowulf and Grendel Trail.

There will also be a great range of food and drink throughout the day and stalls selling dragon-themed accessories, collectables and merchandise. This is the event for all things Dragon!

Plus the award-winning newly refurbished Anglo Saxon Museum will be open throughout the weekend.

The event starts on each day at 10am and ends at 5pm (last entry 4pm). Tickets for adults are £8 in advance and £11 on the door, children £6 in advance and £9 on the door. Family tickets available. Under 5s free.
