Sue Warren, Brand and Marketing Manager for Bury St Edmunds and Beyond, said: “This is a chance for tourism professionals from across the area to come along and build connections with our members and for residents to come along and see what wonderful attractions they have on their doorstep and meet the businesses that bring a tourism value of £47million to the local economy!

"We held a similar tourism fair last year and it proved very popular with members and attendees and this year we have added to the number of exhibitors."

Larking Gowen is this year's event sponsor.

Chris Scargill, Tourism Partner Larking Gowen, said: “We are delighted to be this year’s sponsor of Bury St Edmunds and Beyond’s Bringing Tourism Together Trade Fair. Tourism is an area of great importance to the national economy, employing a considerable number of people and supporting local economies throughout the country. As part of our commitment to tourism, Larking Gowen undertakes regular tourism and leisure business surveys to support the sector.

“Surveys are an important awareness tool which can be used by key decision makers, tourism, leisure and hospitality organisations and government, both local and national.  Not only do they help businesses create development plans and benchmark against other businesses in the region, they also highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the industry and its economic benefits to the region.”
