Chef Shortlisted in Prestigious National Awards

Chef-Patron Pascal Canevet of Maison Bleue, Bury St Edmunds, has been shortlisted in the prestigious Craft Guild of Chef Awards 2019.

Pascal has been shortlisted as one of the three finalists in the prestigious Restaurant Chef Award category in the Craft Guild of Chef Awards 2019.

Alongside chefs Jean-Philippe Blondet from Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester, London, and Kuba Winkowski from The Feathered Nest Country Inn, Cotswolds, Pascal Canevet will attend the glittering awards ceremony on Thursday 6 June at the London Hilton on Park lane and recognise the UK’s leading lights and key figures in the chef industry. 

The Craft Guild of Chefs awards celebrate the emerging and well-established talent from across the UK chef industry. “ I am absolutely delighted to be shortlisted, its such an honour and we are all very excited to be part of the award ceremony “ commented Pascal Canevet.


Brittany born Pascal Canevet is the man behind the success of  multi award-winning Maison Bleue. His unique style and food is loved by Trip Advisor reviewers for his French modern menu full of flavor, beautifully presented and locally sourced. Suffolk based for 20 years Pascal and his wife Karine have developed Maison Bleue, developing its renowned style and high level of multi award-winning cuisine. 

Chef Patron Pascal Canevet serves a spectacle of French modern seasonal dishes, meat, fish, vegetarian and superb puddings, including updated renditions of French classics as his signature dish. Quality and creativity are the hallmarks of the menu including fresh prime ingredients beautifully presented with an innovative twist that highlights the flavours.
