Clare Priory Craft Fayre 2019

Enjoy a great weekend of sunshine, family fun and entertainment at this year's Clare Craft Fayre.

Each year thousands of visitors enjoy the sunshine and entertainment with a range of local foods, craft ales, a range of children’s entertainment, music, dance, historic tours and exhibitors set in the 14th century Priory and its acres of grounds.

Since 1993 Grade 1 listed Clare Priory, Clare, Suffolk has been hosting a Craft Fair on the second full weekend in July. This has grown steadily to become a very popular event, and now receives around 10,000 visitors over the two days. Exhibitors and visitors alike greatly appreciate the unique atmosphere and setting of the Priory, and many have become familiar friends as they return year after year. All proceeds are donated to local, national and international charities the organisers and helpers are all unpaid volunteers who give their time freely and generously.

The fair is held in the 14th century Priory and its grounds set next to Clare Castle Country Park, in the beautiful historic medieval town of Clare on the banks of River Stour.

"The craft fair is a great family day out with some of our visitors having a holiday in the area so they can attend across the weekend every year. "
