Dragonfest 2019 Comes to West Stow Anglo Saxon Village

Can you tame Flame, the smoke breathing dragon and find all of his friends in this family fun day out?

West Stow Anglo Saxon Village celebrates all things dragons at DragonFest 2019, the festival of dragons where children big and small can meet roaming characters and puppets.

Over the weekend of Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June, you can see the return of Rattlebox theatre puppet show and, new for 2019, a static Birds of Prey display. There will be a live dragon roaming the site, as well as a Chinese dragon! Enjoy circus skills, arts and crafts and storytelling throughout the weekend.

Have a go at giant bubbles, visit the Raptor on display and head off on an adventure during the Beowulf and Grendel Trail.

The wearing of dragon costumes are encouraged!
