Taking place at the boutique Northgate Hotel on the first Saturday of every month, the 'freeflow brunch' includes 90 minutes of free flowing Prosecco to accompany two courses from Head Chef Greig Young's brunch menu which features dishes including Kedgeree, fresh crab benedict, heritage tomato salad with whipped goats cheese & croutons, eggs benedict, vegan black pudding with asparagus, fried egg and watercress; smoked salmon, potato rosti, creme fraiche and chives and Suffolk charcuterie.

If you have a sweet tooth, you could opt for strawberries and clotted cream, sour dough meringue with lemon curd and honey cream or slow cooked peaches with pouring cream.

Book a nook or booth at the stylish Gastrono-Me restaurant on Abbeygate Street serves both breakfast (Monday – Saturday 8:30 – mid-day, Sundays – 9:00 – mid-day) and brunch (mid-day - 3pm). 

The exciting breakfast menu includes dishes such as the Breakfast Burger, Buck Rarebit (melting, mustard cheese on toast), Pulled Pork & Mac Stack, Wild Mushrooms on Sourdough Toast, Breakfast Burrito, Huevos Rancheros, Pain Perdu (fruity bread dipped in custard), Breakfast Buddha bowl, Bubby's pancakes and Toasted Banana Bread - plus many more!

Ice Cafe

Looking for somewhere a bit different to dine? The ICE Café has a quirky interior fashioned with a retro, industrial feel offering incredible food and amazing drinks. The Black Lion

Located in the pretty Suffolk village of Long Melford, The Black Lion is a 15th century inn, which is still packed with original features. Find a seat by the roaring log fires in the bar for a coffee and enjoy a delicious breakfast made from local produce in the restaurant. the 40 cover restaurant or conservatory.

Serving classic French and English breakfast dishes, Cote Brasserie's breakfast menu is served from 8am - 12pm weekdays and 9am - 1pm on weekends. If you want to 'fill your boots', the cooked breakfast menu includes a Full English (two free range eggs, bacon, pork sausage, tomato, mushrooms and toast), French Breakfast (two scrambled eggs, boudin noir, French streaky bacon and field mushroom on toasted brioche), Crepe Complete (warm crepe with two free range eggs, bacon and shaved gruyere cheese), Vegetarian Breakfast (vegetarian sausage, field mushroom, tomato, avocado, baby spinach and two poached eggs on sourdough toast with Hollandaise sauce) plus Eggs Benedict, Eggs Avocado, Eggs Florentine and Eggs Royale.
