Drive-In Music Concerts This Summer

Combining the love of cars and music, live music drive-in events will take place in Lavenham this summer!

The Midsummer Drive-In Concerts, by Oep Live, will take place over the weekend of 14 - 16 August 2020 in the picturesque Drive-In Lavenham Arena, Suffolk. 

Strict Safety Guidelines are being implemented and these include sitting in your car or your private adjacent open air picnic area. 

All days the gates open at 5pm. The shows start at 7pm and end at 9.30pm. There will be a fully licenced bar service.

Robbie Gladwell & His Band featuring Harry Greene 

Robbie Gladwell is well known in East Anglian area music scene having been in bands since the 1970’s and has also played with many well-known artists all over the world. 

He will be bringing some special guests to appear with his band for what will be the music party of the year! For those of you that have seen Robbie play and supported his shows over the years, you’ll know that this will be a very special night not to be missed in a special hometown show.

Robbie has played with numerous bands in the past 50 years and of course for many years as lead guitar for Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel. He has also played alongside many ’name’ artists, as well as having worked in sessions and toured with The Rolling Stones, BB King, Suzi Quatro, Percy Sledge, Little Eva and to have shared stages with Dave Gilmour and Tom Jones.

Robbie has worked for many years as a consultant for Gibson Guitars and writes regular features for 'Guitarist' Magazine. He has also designed a guitar for Vintage.
