Four online talks will be live-streamed free from St Edmundsbury Cathedral to mark the 1,000th anniversary of the Abbey of St Edmund.
A series of talks, which start in November and finish in March, will see a host of academics give unique insights into the Abbey's history and role and will be streamed online for free.
The talks have been organised by the Abbey of St Edmund Heritage Partnership and the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History with financial support from the Heritage Fund.
In Medieval times, The Abbey of St Edmund was one of the richest, largest and most powerful Benedictine monasteries in England and people came from all over Europe to visit the Shrine of Saint Edmund, the first Patron Saint of England.
The talks will be live-streamed free at https://www.facebook.com/stedscathedral/ and https://www.facebook.com/SuffolkInstitute/
