Half Term at St Edmundsbury Cathedral

February half term will be action-packed at St Edmundsbury Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds.

Suffolk Science Festival returns to the Cathedral with a Slime workshop (green and gooey!), the chance to make a mini garden and all sorts of interactive science workshops.

There is something for children of all ages.

There will also be the chance to climb the Millennium Tower on Wednesday 19, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 February. Tours costs £10 per person and must be pre-booked online on stedscathedral.org/whats-on

‘Tower tours are a great way to discover the story of how the Tower was built as well as getting a fantastic panorama of Bury’s skyline,’ comments Sarah Friswell, PR, Visits and Volunteer Manager. ‘There are 202 steps to climb, so do be prepared. And don’t forget your camera.’

St Edmundsbury Cathedral is open daily. There is no charge for admission, but donations are welcome. For more information visit https://stedscathedral.org/whats-on/
