Welcome back to Arc Shopping Centre

Arc Shopping Centre is getting ready to welcome you back...

Following the government's announcement that all non-essential stores are allowed to reopen from 15th June with the right conditions in place, arc shopping centre  is working hard to ensure the centre is ready to welcome visitors back.

Returning safely

The centre team has been taking steps to ensure arc is a safe environment in which to work and shop, and asks all visitors to follow the government’s social distancing guidelines as closely as possible at all times. The centre has installed directional and helpful signage across the estate to make it easy to understand the rules in place throughout the centre.

What they are doing:

When visiting arc shopping centre, it may look a little different to normal and there will be new rules to adhere to, but don’t let that worry you – they have put together FAQs for you to read before visiting so that you know what to expect.  Please visit their website to read these.

The centre has installed hand sanitiser stations at all entrances and many centre staff will be wearing face masks and gloves.

The number of shoppers allowed in stores will be restricted and queuing areas will be in place. These safety measures will be signposted and easy to understand once you arrive, but if you have any questions, please ask one of arc’s team.

There will also be revised opening hours for many stores, please check with the individual stores for more information.

Stores that have confirmed their re-opening on 15th June 2020 are:

  • Debenhams,
  • H&M,
  • Pandora,
  • Peacocks,
  • Superdry,
  • River Island,
  • Hotel Chocolat

More shops will open daily, so be sure to check arc shopping centre’s COVID-19 website pageor Facebook page for the most up-to-date information. Please be aware that toilets remain closed for the time being.

Sam Parker, Centre Administrator said, “We would like to thank our staff and retailers who are all working extremely hard in very challenging and unprecedented circumstances. In these uncertain times we look forward to welcoming the public back to arc, but we recognise the right time will be different for everyone. So, when the time is right is for you, we are ready for you.  Be Patient, Be Kind, Be Responsible.”.
