The cafe boasts stylish interiors from Dapper Aviation, which makes furniture from aircraft parts.

Baskerville's in Whiting Street offers a plant based menu with delicious coffee and cocktails.

Baskerville's is the dream of owner Maxima Baskerville who spent many years selling cakes at events such as V Festival.

Her wonderful cakes are made by The Power Plant, hand-made plant-based cakes that are also suitable for those following a vegan, gluten free, lactose free, egg free diets. There's double ginger, mango and toasted coconut, chocolate orange, red velvet and carrot among the many to choose from!

Really Rather Good looks over historic Angel Hill and has a mouth-watering selection of cakes, including traditional coffee and walnut and Victoria sponge, and the more unusual like Guinness cake and banana bread.

They also do yummy homemade fruit and cheese scones with a good selection of gluten free options.

The coffee house is well known for its award winning selection of coffees as well as teas and hot chocolate, and with cakes you've never tried before, you'll find them really rather good.

Pilgrims Kitchen

Enjoy a slice of cake, or two (no ones counting), at Pilgrims Kitchen at St Edmundsbury Cathedral.

A beautiful setting with comfy sofas to enjoy a well deserved rest right in the heart of Suffolk's only cathedral.

Their yummy cakes, including chocolate, cappucino and carrot cake are baked on the premises as well as their very popular cheese scones but get there early for the scones as these are a favourite of the Cathedral staff!
