As one of the leading children charities throughout the UK, Barnardos works with more than 200,000 children, young people and their families every year.
The charity provides a much-needed service to children who have been through issues of drug misuse, disability, youth crime, mental health, sexual abuse, domestic violence, poverty and homelessness.
As one of nearly 400 stores across the UK, Barnardo in Bury St Edmunds accepts donations of a wide variety of unwanted goods - from clothing; to shoes and accessories; to quality homeware; to electrical items; to books, toys, CDs and DVDs; to mobile phones; to foreign currency.
These donations raise money towards transforming the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged children, with services such as counselling, fostering and adoption, vocational training and disability inclusion groups.
