Bury St Edmunds’ markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays in the Buttermarket and Cornhill area is a fantastic opportunity to sample the county’s marvellous local produce and food stalls.

For beer lovers, Greene King has been brewing beer in Bury St Edmunds for more than 200 years and their beverages can be found in pubs and bars across the town. The Old Cannon Brewery’s unique, state-of- the-art, stainless steel brewing vessels are a stunning feature of their bar where they have been brewing since 1999. 

The beers from The Brewshed in nearby Ingham are available in a number of pubs in the town, the Stillery Bar also produces its own Bury St Edmunds gin.
