The Garden Café is a kiosk situated in the beautiful Abbey Gardens in the heart of Bury St Edmunds.
The Café provides refreshment for all tastes; from a cup of tea and a slice of cake whilst you sit and watch the passers-by …
to a selection of goodies for you to have your own picnic sitting amongst the Abbey ruins.
The bean to cup coffees and our tea is Fairtrade and there is also a selection of healthy drinks and snacks
should you want to pass on the delicious Whippy Ice cream enjoyed by children of all ages!
Next time you are in the Gardens pop by and see what is on offer , and if you are a regular pick up one of our loyalty cards which you can also use in the Apex Café in the Arc.

September: every day from 11am-4pm
October: every day from 11am-3pm up until the end of half term - then we close
November: we only open for Xmas fayre
December: closed
January: closed
February: open for half term 11am-3pm
March: weekends only 11am-3pm
April and May: weekdays- 11am-4pm, weekends-11am-5pm
June: weekdays 11am-4pm, weekends 10am-5pm
July and August: 10am-5pm everyday
