The Priory Hotel is a privately owned and run hotel where the welcome is warm and personal, the standards high and the hospitality unique.
A true oasis of calm, the hotel is ideal for travellers seeking peace and quiet in a historic location with modern facilities and an ideal location for a short break.
One of only 50 hotels in the UK to have been awarded three silver stars by the AA for service, hospitality and housekeeping, The Priory was originally home to Franciscan friars, known as the Babwell friars who were assigned to St Saviours Hospital until 1538.
A recent refurbishment has created the new Garden Restaurant, a stunning space with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beautiful grounds.
The restaurant was recently awarded an AA one Rosette, for its new menu which includes contemporary dishes with the addition of a specials board.
Just a 5-minute drive to the town centre and a short walk from the railway station, there is free car parking and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Pets are welcome in the garden rooms.
