The West Suffolk Branch of the RSPCA is one of 164 charities that supports the local work of the RSPCA and its inspectors.
As a separately registered branch of the RSPCA, we are primarily responsible for raising funds locally to help animals in our area. Our animal welfare activities are run by local volunteers and we raise money mainly through our shop in Bury St. Edmunds, but also through fundraising events, donations and legacies.
Our branch is run by a committee of locally elected volunteers who are responsible for the management and administration of the branch's affairs.
We promote responsible pet ownership through local microchipping and neutering campaigns. We can also help with welfare assistance costs for your pet.
If you are interested in offering support by adopting or fostering any of the animals in our care, then please call us to find out more.
