Time & Motion: Capturing The Lifeblood Of A Racing Yard

About this event

We are thrilled to bring you an exclusive collection of stunning black and white photographs by Jayne Odell FRPS.

The Time & Motion exhibition captures the lifeblood of a racing yard, and runs from July 9th to December 4th.

Jayne Odell developed a passion for equine photography after moving to Newmarket in 2016. Her work conveys the unique rhythm of a town devoted to horseracing. She captures beautiful images of thoroughbreds in training as well as the landscape and kinfolk of Newmarket. Jayne became a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society in 2020 and is now an Assessment Panel Member.

In this, her first exhibition for the National Horseracing Museum, Jayne has captured the atmosphere and emotion of moments rarely seen by those outside racing. Jayne’s images show the diversity, talent, and dedication of those working ‘behind-the-scenes’ in racing.

We are honoured to have the opportunity to exhibit her work in the Moller Gallery, and appreciate the openness and honesty of all those who agreed to take part.
