Located in the heart of Suffolk, The Great House Restaurant with Rooms is situated in the picturesque village of lovely Lavenham, packed with rich history, artefacts, stories, and quaint timbered buildings that look like they belong to another time. The central location of The Great House is perfect for local attractions, which are just a short drive away, including modern-meets-traditional Bury St Edmunds and the serene countryside of Long Melford.
Make the most of your visit to lovely Lavenham with an overnight stay in one of their beautiful rooms. Choose from five luxury rooms named after a special place, date, or time in French history. Each room has an ensuite, and four of the five rooms include a seating area or separate lounge, perfect for curling up with a good book before dinner. The bedrooms are packed full of character, from soft furnishings to exposed beams and brickwork, revealing the rich history of the building.
