Bury St Edmunds Food and Drink Festival 2021
Start Date: 29 August 2021
Start Time: 10am
End Date: 30 August 2021
End Time: 5pm

Bury St Edmunds Town Centre

Foodies will love the two day Our Bury St Edmunds Food and Drink Festival held on August Bank Holiday weekend.

With an annual line-up of cooking demonstrations from top celebrity chefs, the chance to taste and purchase food and drink from over 100 stalls and a popular farmer’s market, this is a foodie’s heaven.

Food-lovers will have chance to see an Our Bury St Edmunds favourite celebrity chef again this year when the popular Paul Rankin returns to the annual Food & Drink Festival in August.  Paul will turn up the heat in the Stoves Cookery Theatre on Bank Holiday Monday while on Sunday, newcomer to the event and former soap star Sean Wilson will be donning his chefs’ whites.

Sean and Paul will each make three appearances in front of the Cookery Theatre crowds with top chefs from some of Bury’s favourite restaurants taking the other spots on the menu.

Bank Holiday Monday will star Paul Rankin, who is best known as one of the longest standing and most successful chefs on ‘Ready Steady Cook’.  On Sunday Sean Wilson, who was in ‘Coronation Street’ for 21 years as Martin Platt before presenting Channel 5’s ‘Great Northern Cookbook’, will demonstrate his skills as a self-taught cook and multi-award winning cheesemaker.

The free-entry two-day event is organised by the town centre Business Improvement District (BID) organisation Our Bury St Edmunds.

Open 10am - 5pm both days. FREE entry!

Plus there will be a Family Entertainment Zone in the arc shopping centre (Charter Square). Featuring a Helter Skelter, Hook a Penquin, Roundabout, Circus Skills Workshop, Big Outdoor Games (including Connect 4, Ping Pong etc). Two PAW Patrol characters will be there at intervals across each day, with Chase and Rubble visiting on Sunday August 29 and Skye and Marshall on Bank Holiday Monday.
