Dragon Fest is a celebration of all things dragon, from dinosaurs to folklore and what better place to hold it than West Stow. 

Over the weekend of Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June, you can see the return of Rattlebox theatre puppet show and, new for 2019, a static Birds of Prey display. There will be a live dragon roaming the site, as well as a Chinese dragon! Enjoy circus skills, arts and crafts and storytelling throughout the weekend.

Have a go at giant bubbles, visit the Raptor on display and head off on an adventure during the Beowulf and Grendel Trail. 

The wearing of dragon costumes are encouraged! 


Tickets for DragonFest: Adult £9, Child £7, Family £28. Advance tickets available until 24 June. Parking is available on site: Up to 2 hours = £1, More than 2 hours = £2. There will only be three activities with an extra cost this year and those are face painting, archery and ‘Play with Clay’ where children can make a piece of clay to take home. The rest of the day will be included in the ticket price.

• Circus Skills

• Plus many more Dragons and Characters to meet on the day

• Crafts

• Storytelling

• Re-enactment groups

• Ticket includes entry into the Anglo-Saxon museum 

A great range of food and drink will be available throughout the day
