Meet in the foyer of The Swan Hotel, High Street, Lavenham, Sudbury CO10 9QA

Learn about the medieval cloth trade, see the former cloth Merchants’ houses and hear how the village survived almost 200 years of neglect and poverty. The Blue and Green badge tour guides will take you on an information packed walk around the village of Lavenham.

The Lavenham Tour Guides can show you where Jane and Ann Taylor lived, the authors of ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’, where John Constable went to school and the building used for ‘Godric’s Hollow’ in  ‘Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows’ (Part 2).

Tours are every Wednesday at 2pm, Saturday at 2pm, Sunday at 11am, bank holidays at 2pm.

Tickets: Adults £4. (cash only) - your ticket allows you to return to The Swan Hotel to enjoy a cup of tea/coffee at a reduced price.
