Nowton Park Star Party

Nowton Park Star Party
Start Date: 27 March 2020
Start Time: 7pm
End Date: 28 March 2020
End Time: 9.30pm

Nowton Park Nursery, Nowton Park, Bury St Edmunds

Explore the wonders of the night’s sky at Nowton Park.

Join members of the Athenaeum Astronomy Association who will introduce specific aspects of the night sky.

Clear skies will enable observation of star clusters, galaxies and nebulae early in the evening and later, the Moon.

Running parallel to observing will be a series of presentations on Astronomy, some fun activities for children and the opportunity to talk to AAA members about all things astronomical.

They will be situated in the heart of Nowton Park, well away from light sources to maximise our chance of viewing.

Please park in the main car park and walk up to the walled garden - bring a torch! Light refreshments will be on sale.

Tickets: Adult £5, Child (5-18) £3, Under 5's go free. Booking: Essential - use the website above or call 01284 758000.
